While the whole episode does reek of reckless obsessions of a superior male ego, it also brings out the other side of the same coin ...., a true but visible fact

Typically the Indian always bowed down to the "white-skin obsession", enslavened by the residue of the "Raj" !
Time and again we have been bombarded with stories of the white man harassing an Indian woman. A white woman harassing an Indian male.So many stereotypes !! So many tales heard so often, so many tales unheard and buried under the soil beautifully !!
However today we do see role reversals, thanks to a different impact of the "so called globalisation factor" and the "social permissiveness" that gets associated with anything and everything modern.
The birth, the new avatar of an all new Indian !!
Here is a case of a brown skin, making advances towards a white skin, taking it to intolerable lengths, then using his power to sack the white skin and then smartly announcing that he is stepping down to pursue more creative options !!!(when he is actually sacked, fired)!!!
We always heard similar tales, but now with a twist in characters !!!
Shobha De I am sure is listening and maybe ready for "Sweet Obsessions : Part 2" !!!, where David became Goliath !!

does perversion have a color?
ReplyDeleteThe issue being raised here is the issue of the switch from "white skin domination" to the "brown skin domination". Obviously perversion has no colour or rather it has only one olour and that is perversion itself. But gone are the days when white perversion was swept under the carpet and brown was being negatively referred.
